Sounds more techno/trance/electronic/industrial than hip hop. I suggest checkin out artists like Cajete, Zajed, Lil Saynt on NG. If you want to get some NG hip hop influence.

Well, on the song, I think you gotta expand it more, add more accompany melodies. In hip hop you need a repeditive melody, this track is all over the place. Good luck.
